SPECIFICATIONS
MEARLCRETE® LOW DENSITY CELLULAR CONCRETE (LDCC)

SCOPE OF WORK: The certified MEARLCRETE® LDCC applicator shall furnish labor, materials, equipment and supervision for the installation of MEARLCRETE LDCC in accordance with the drawings and specifications.

MATERIALS: MEARLCRETE LIQUID FOAM CONCENTRATES shall be supplied by CELLULAR CONCRETE LLC, Roselle Park, NJ. MEARLCRETE LIQUID FOAM CONCENTRATES shall comply with the standard specifications of ASTM C 869 when tested in accordance with ASTM C 796

Portland cement shall comply with ASTM C 150, Type I, II or III. Mixing water shall be potable and free from deleterious amounts of acids, alkali, salts, oils and organic materials which would adversely effect the setting or strength of the MEARLCRETE LDCC. Admixtures for reducing water, accelerating set, etc., may be used when specifically approved by CELLULAR CONCRETE LLC and in accordance with its recommendations. Other additives such as fly ash may be used when specifically approved by CELLULAR CONCRETE LLC.

MIX DESIGN: Mix design shall be in accordance CELLULAR CONCRETE LLC recommendations for a cast density at point of placement of ______pcf _______pcf with a compressive strength of ______psi at 28 days.

MIXING AND PLACING: MEARLCRETE LDCC shall be job site batched, mixed and placed with equipment (foam generator, mixer and pump) approved by CELLULAR CONCRETE LLC .

TESTING: Four (4) test specimens shall be taken at the point of placement for each 100 cubic yards of MEARLCRETE LDCC. Specimens shall be prepared, handled, cured and tested for compressive strength in accordance with ASTM C 495.
